University Orientation Day 2026

University Orientation Day 2026 was successfully held on 6 August. A series of engaging activities were designed to welcome new students and help them to prepare for a flourishing university life.

• Orientation Talks: Official talks introduced new undergraduates to CUHK’s core values, university life planning, student experience, and essential mental wellness resources.

• College Introductory Talks and Consultations: The nine Colleges showcased their distinct cultures, residential facilities, and scholarship opportunities. Representatives were also available for student consultations.

• Promotion of Student-led Orientation Activities for New Undergraduate Students (organised by senior students): Interactive promotion booths hosted by experienced students, offering freshmen a preview of student-led faculty and department orientation camps and tips on navigating campus life.

We wish all our new students a fulfilling and rewarding journey as they learn, grow, and thrive at CUHK.
