Computing Account Collection
New students who receive the V-code (please refer to tentative dates below) from the Information Technology Services Centre (ITSC) by email and/ or SMS shall use the V-code to obtain their personal Computing Accounts Information, including the Student ID number, email address and OnePass password.
After obtaining their computing accounts, students MUST first register for DUO 2FA before they can change their passwords or use various University Application systems.
Duo Mobile does not provide official support for Huawei devices. Please refer to this article for details and workaround.

CUSIS – Online Student Registration
They can then logon the Chinese University Student Information System (CUSIS) to complete their online student registration. Please refer to “Information for New Students” that will be available after 3 August 2026 on the Registration and Examinations Section, Registry website for details.

CUHK Mobile Pass – Campus Access
CUHK Mobile Pass is a mobile app that allows new students access to the campus with a QR code in addition to presenting the CU Link Card. CU Link Card is still the official way to show one’s student identity, but CUHK Mobile Pass is more convenient for those who do not yet have or forget to bring their CU Link Card.
