大学将于2026年9月7日（星期一）上午10时正于本部邵逸夫堂举行本科生入学典礼，以寓意大家正式加入香港中文大学。典礼上，将由大学主管人员欢迎各位新生，并介绍中大的使命及愿景，礼成之后，请留步参加所属学院举办的迎新会，认识你们的老师和同学，并增进对学院的了解。

| Dear new students, I am Professor Ko Wing Hung, Associate Vice-President and the University Dean of Students. Welcome to The Chinese University of Hong Kong! Congratulations! You are now a member of the University to embark on a new chapter in life. In the next few years, I hope you will take full advantage of your time at the CUHK to learn and enjoy the University life. In addition to acquiring academic knowledge, you are encouraged to emerge yourself into the university life by participating in various extra-curricular activities, such as cultural and exchange programmes, service-learning projects, and internship opportunities. Through various formal and non-formal learning activities, you will experience the most vigorous intellectual and spiritual growth in your life. These opportunities will expose you to the world outside academic field and develop your potential. I sincerely hope that all of you will support and care for each other in the exciting journey ahead. Let’s join hands to create a caring, diversified and inclusive campus. To mark the beginning of your journey at the CUHK, I cordially invite you to participate in the Inauguration Ceremony for Undergraduates on Monday, 7 September 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Sir Run Run Shaw Hall. New students will be greeted by the University officers. The ceremony will be followed by faculty welcoming receptions hosted by the Deans of respective Faculties, where you will meet new friends and learn more about your Faculties. - 在邵逸夫堂内，禁止吸烟。
- 请勿在场内饮食。
- 较大之物品及湿雨具，请勿带进场。
- 未经许可，请勿在场内摄影、录音或录像。禁止携带摄录器材进入场内。
- 请关掉电子闹表、传呼机及手提电话。
- 迟到者必须在某一项目稍停或适当情况下，依照工作人员指引方可入座。
- 邵逸夫堂保留容许观众入座之权利。
入场
请于上午9时30分前就座，进场时必须出示有效学生证 （「中大通」）；倘邵逸夫堂满座，大学将安排同学到附近演讲厅观看直播。
交通
大学备有专车于上午8时45分起从港铁大学站接载同学前往邵逸夫堂。
恶劣天气安排
典礼当天，如八号或以上之台风信号或黑色暴雨警告讯号于上午7时正仍然悬挂，典礼将会取消。
