Using the CUHK Library will have a positive impact on your time at University and ultimately your academic achievements. With seven libraries, a bilingual collection of over 140,000 electronic and print journal subscriptions, 4 million e-books, and 2.6 million print volumes the Library can seem overwhelming at first. CUHK Library staff are committed to helping you make best use of the Library with orientation sessions, workshops, exhibitions and events throughout the year, Library subject guides and roving help teams. Our librarians have subject area expertise and can provide specialist support.
As a CUHK student, you need your CU Link card to enter the Library, borrow library materials and use the Library’s computing facilities. You also need to set up your own Library password for things like remote access to e-resources, renewing books, log-on to library PCs, and booking group study rooms.
To familiarize you with the library resources and services, have a look at our website. A series of library orientation sessions will be conducted during September. The time schedule will be posted on the library homepage and this site in August. We look forward to seeing you in the library!
